We are experts when it comes to conservation joinery
We do a lot of listed building work, which involves both renovation and restoration, and we work closely with conservation officers to do so. As you can imagine, carrying out repairs or additions to any historic or listed building requires an excellent working knowledge of traditional methods and materials, as well as an in-depth awareness of the architectural style employed by the original building team.
There’s no room for mistakes! We always work sympathetically with the existing structure, paying attention to every detail to ensure that the new work complements the surrounding architecture perfectly.
We use timber from managed woodlands and suppliers, all of which are PEFC and FSC certified.
We use Teknos and Symphony coatings. All our products will be finished by us in our purpose-built workshop, prior to installation.
We are happy to provide home visits to assess your requirements. We build and fit staircases of every description, as well as providing sympathetic repairs.
If you have a traditional door that you need replicating, we are happy to do this for you – we will mimic the style of the existing door down to the finest detail. All doors are traditionally constructed with mortice and tenon joints.
