A staircase can be an impressive focal point to any interior space, so whether you are working on a self-build and require a staircase to be fitted, or you are adding a staircase to an existing property, we recommend a great deal of thought be put into the materials and design.
We are happy to provide home visits to assess your requirements. We build and fit staircases of every description, as well as providing sympathetic repairs.
If you have a traditional door that you need replicating, we are happy to do this for you – we will mimic the style of the existing door down to the finest detail. All doors are traditionally constructed with mortice and tenon joints.

Closed or open tread?
One of the biggest questions you need to ask when it comes to your new staircase is: should I opt for closed or open tread? It really depends on your needs.
Open tread stairs allow plenty of light to pass through, giving the impression of transparency and space. As such, they can be very contemporary and stylish in appearance. Traditional, closed tread stairs, on the other hand, are often seen as being a little safer, especially if you have kids running around the house!
